Designed and directed special events, marketing and advance media relations for the grand opening of Starwood Wasserman’s The Shops on Lake Avenue, a 175,000 sq foot urban retail project in Pasadena designed by MDA Johnson Favaro Architecture and Urban Design. Directed the publicity for a public art installation on site of “Mobius Bench” by conceptual artist Vito Acconci as well as created and directed an art auction and gala reception benefiting The Pasadena Museum of California Art and the Pasadena Playhouse. The auction featured one-of-a-kind artworks commissioned from some of the nation’s leading artists, including Alexis Smith, Betye Saar, Charles Arnoldi, Frank Gehry, Mark Ryden and William Wegman (artworks in order of appearance).
